Races are one of the main gameplay components of NHRA Legends of Drag Racing. Practice your timing to improve your race times.
Rev and Aim
At the beginning of a race, tap and drag down the pedal in the middle of the screen. Drag until the tachometer dial on the left is in the green zone. Move side to side until the arrow pointing forward from your car is straight and green.
Launch
The starting lights, known as the "Christmas Tree," change from yellow to green. Release your finger as quickly as possible when the green light appears. With practice, anticipating the change from yellow to green can improve your reaction time.
Shift
After launching, watch the tachometer and red arrow on the left side. Tap anywhere on the screen to shift. Your car accelerates best when you shift while the red arrow is in the green zone. Different cars can have different shift timing and frequency.
