How Sponsorships Work

A sponsorship is a timed bonus. More than one can run at once, and each one counts until its timer ends.

A sponsorship is a bonus that lasts for a limited time. You earn them from races. More than one can be active together. Each active one applies its own bonus. That is the stack. When a timer ends, that bonus stops and the others keep going.

They do not all last the same amount of time. Some run for a few minutes, some for half an hour, and some longer. The Garage shows the name and the time left. Some are locked until you reach a player level. Clutch Time, for example, adds Torque and unlocks at level 2. The offer writes the amount, because that number can change.

How to take one and read the stack

  1. Finish a race that awards a sponsorship.
  2. If the game grants one by name, that one starts.
  3. If a dialog titled Choose a sponsorship appears, read both descriptions and tap Choose on the one you want. You only keep that one.
  4. Open the Garage. Active sponsorships are listed there with a countdown.
  5. Tap the info button on a row to read what it does.
  6. Leave the ones you want running. You do not turn them off. They expire on their own.
  7. Take another when a race offers one. It stacks with whatever is still on the list.

A sponsorship is separate from a part ability and from crew. See What Special Abilities Do and Crew Members.
