When you go to race, the game offers a set of events. Each card shows the event name, a short description, an entry fee when there is one, the rewards, and a rarity mark. Common events are the ones you see most. Epic events show up less often. Legendary events show up less often than Epic.
The rewards on that card are the payout for that event. Read them before you tap the card. There is not one bonus that every Epic or Legendary event pays on top. The card is the list.
How to pick one
- From the home screen, open the race list.
- Read the rarity mark on each card.
- Read the rewards line. If your crate slots are full, a rewards line can be marked so you know a crate from that race would not fit. Open a crate first. See Opening Crates.
- Check the entry fee. If the card has no fee, that line is hidden.
- Tap the card to race it.
- If none of the cards are worth it, spend Dice to reroll the set. The button tells you when you are out of Dice. See What Are Dice For?.
Some missions ask you to race or win events of a given rarity. Those sit with your other objectives. See What Are Missions?.
A rarer event still uses the same timeslip. A quicker car and a legal light are what cash the rewards in. See Why a Faster Car Matters.
