Crashing and Freezing Issues

Troubleshoot crashes and freezes without risking save data on unsupported cloud platforms.

If PBA Bowling Challenge crashes, freezes, or closes unexpectedly, try these steps.

Troubleshooting

  1. Fully close the game and other apps you do not need, then reopen PBA Bowling Challenge. Backgrounding is not the same as fully closing an app. On Apple, swipe up from the bottom and hold, then swipe the game off the list. On Android, tap Recent Apps and swipe up on the game.
  2. If your device allows you to clear the game's cache without clearing data, open the device settings, find PBA Bowling in the app list, and look under Storage or Data Management. Do not use Clear Data. Clearing data erases your save.
  3. Check the App Store or Google Play for an update.
  4. As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall only if you know your save is backed up or Support instructed you to do so.

Do not uninstall on Android or Amazon unless Support tells you to. Those versions do not have cloud saving, and uninstalling can permanently lose your save. On Apple, confirm iCloud is enabled for PBA Bowling before uninstalling.

Contact Support

  1. On the title screen, tap the mail icon near the bottom.
  2. Tap the Help tab.
  3. Tap Contact Support and include your name, email address, and a brief description.

Also include when the issue began, how often it happens, where you were in the game, your device model, and operating system version.
