Your player level increases as you gain XP. Leveling up adds new clubs to the pool of clubs available in card packs and adds holes to the Play Mode rotation. The maximum player level is 10, and most levels take about three times as much XP as the previous level. The only way to gain player-level XP is to upgrade a club card. Upgrades also improve at least one club stat or special ability.
- Collect enough card copies and silver for an upgrade. Both are spent during the upgrade.
- Visit Inventory by swiping once from left to right on the title screen, or use the triangular arrow at the bottom left.
- Find and tap a club for which you have enough copies and enough silver.
- Tap the orange button at the bottom showing the silver cost.
- The progress bar above the card image shows the copies you have and the number required.
- The upgrade awards you XP.
Your level appears in the upper left with a blue progress bar and blue golf tee symbol. Tap it to see your exact XP and the amount required for the next level.
XP depends on the club's upgrade level and rarity. Higher-level and rarer clubs give more XP.
Common (Red Rarity) Clubs
- Level 1 → 2: 2 XP
- Level 2 → 3: 5 XP
- Level 3 → 4: 10 XP
- Level 4 → 5: 15 XP
- Level 5 → 6: 20 XP
- Level 6 → 7: 40 XP
- Level 7 → 8: 60 XP
- Level 8 → 9: 100 XP
- Level 9 → 10: 200 XP
- Level 10 → 11: 300 XP
- Level 11 → 12: 400 XP
- Level 12 → Elite: 3,000 XP
Rare (Blue Rarity) Clubs
- Level 3 → 4: 15 XP
- Level 4 → 5: 20 XP
- Level 5 → 6: 40 XP
- Level 6 → 7: 60 XP
- Level 7 → 8: 100 XP
- Level 8 → 9: 200 XP
- Level 9 → 10: 300 XP
- Level 10 → 11: 400 XP
- Level 11 → 12: 500 XP

Epic (Purple Rarity) Clubs
- Level 5 → 6: 60 XP
